Acceptable Use Policy
Provider: Andrew Reinhard d/b/a Domainvane, 148 Coleto Trail, Bastrop, TX 78602. Effective date: September 29, 2026.
This policy governs every Domainvane account, public checker request, report page, and webhook. It forms part of the Terms.
Use Domainvane only for authorized monitoring
You may monitor only hostnames you own, administer, or are authorized to monitor. Normal certificate and RDAP checks are allowed. You must not use Domainvane to scan networks, discover internal services, test unrelated targets at scale, evade rate or plan limits, or bypass controls that block private, loopback, link-local, metadata, or other non-public addresses.
Prohibited conduct and content
You must not:
- break the law, infringe rights, impersonate others, or facilitate fraud;
- disrupt, overload, probe, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to Domainvane or another system;
- introduce malware or use automated requests beyond documented product functions;
- share account credentials, report links, alerts, or webhook data in a way that violates confidentiality or privacy duties;
- place passwords, private keys, payment-card data, health data, or other sensitive or special-category data in hostname, client-label, webhook, or support fields;
- use alerts, webhooks, or email for spam, harassment, phishing, or unlawful marketing; or
- resell or misrepresent Domainvane results as a guarantee of security, renewal, ownership, or uptime.
Enforcement
Andrew Reinhard d/b/a Domainvane may investigate suspected violations and may rate-limit, block a check, remove content, suspend integrations, or suspend or terminate an account. We will consider severity, repetition, risk, and whether the issue can be cured. We may act without advance notice when necessary to protect systems or people, comply with law, or contain an urgent security incident. Where practical, we will notify the account email and explain how to contact support.
We may preserve and disclose information when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect rights and safety, or comply with valid legal process, subject to the Privacy Policy. Customers remain responsible for their users, configured destinations, and compliance with laws applying to their monitoring.
This policy is governed consistently with the Terms under the laws of Texas.
